When you combine the dynamic sounds of the conch shell, the live bass and guitars, the brass licks driven by the flowing and captivating ‘riddim’, the distinctive ring of Trinidad’s National instrument merged with the jubilant arrangement, embraced together with the compelling strength of the vocals unifying and fusing them all, it's something most deserving of applause.
